My Mom has been staying at the Bungalow and I have been cozied up in the log cabin. We love it here! Norma and Bill are charming and helpful. The Bungalow is updated with 2 gas fireplaces and a nice cooking kitchen. The bed is comfortable and the view from the back porch is lovely.
My girlfriend Sharon and I stayed in The Bungalow over Valentine's Day Weekend, 2015. The place was very charming and wonderfully old fashioned but also had all the modern conveniences we could ever ask for. The Bungalow lies on a beautiful mountainside, nestled amongst the tall sugar maples. If your looking for peace, quiet and maybe a bit of romance, this is the place. We loved it!
The log cabin is more rustic and right up your alley if you like wood and want to travel back to the past but still have comfort and a TV. There are also washers and dryers in both places which is very convenient. If you like the idea of waking up to see horses grazing on the farm and fresh eggs and maple syrup on your porch this is your kind of place. It is great to rent the 2 cottages so Mom and I can have dinner together but still have our space. Definitely recommended!

The Blue Heron Farm is a magical place! We loved every minute of our stay, our cozy log cabin, the friendly Fjord horses, soothing green fields and forest, the peace and quiet and Norma and Bill's wonderful hospitality. Not to forget the blueberries and maple sirup!
We had great short vacation at The Cottage. Very clean, warm and welcoming place. Bill and Norma are awesome! Bill took us for a tour around the farm and was very helpful. Highly recommended for those who wish to take a break from city life and reconnect with nature.
